A recent study* showed that you are 3 times more likely to eat the first food that you see in your cupboard than the fifth one! Furthermore those who left unhealthy snacks out on their counters (chips, soft drinks, breakfast cereals) weighed from 8 to 29 pounds more than those who had only fruit on the counter. Hide unhealthy snacks low and behind objects in your cupboard and refridgerator and keep healthy snacks like nuts and fruit available out on counters to help make better choices. * IDEA Fitness Journal, March 2016
