Feeling Guilty About Dessert? WALK!

Just ate a high carb dinner and dessert? WALK! A recent study ( Diabetologia, 2016; doi: 10. 1007/s00125-106-4085-2) suggested that walking for only 10 minutes after each meal can significantly reduce blood glucose levels, especially after dinner. By reducing blood sugar levels, you decrease the possibility of having it stored as bodyfat. It is even more effective at knocking down blood sugar levels than a regular 30 minute walk! So make it a habit with the whole family after dinner, WALK!
